
This course is intended for personnel who may need to use a stretcher to evacuate a casualty from a relatively simple location.
It provides the practical skills required to set up the stretcher, prepare and package a casualty, and move the stretcher safely and efficiently as part of a team. This course does not cover casualty assessment or medical treatment. The use of an Alpine wheel can be included if required.
Prerequisites
Medically fit & healthy.
No previous experience required.
