Developed with Mountain Rescue England & Wales (MREW), this course is intended for personnel responsible for the formal, detailed inspection of Personal Fall Protection Equipment (PFPE) within Mountain Rescue.
It provides the knowledge and practical skills required to carry out thorough inspections, as required by LOLER, Work at Height Regulations and MREW guidelines, record findings correctly, and determine the appropriate actions for damaged or defective equipment.

Prerequisites

Medically fit & healthy.
A good understanding of work at height equipment is required.
