
This course is intended for personnel responsible for the formal, detailed inspection of specific basic items of Personal Fall Protection Equipment (PFPE) within their own organisation. For example: harness, slings, lanyards, and connectors. If you require more in depth training, look at our Standard PFPE Inspector course.
It provides the knowledge and practical skills required to carry out thorough inspections, as required by LOLER and Work at Height Regulations, record findings correctly, and determine the appropriate actions for damaged or defective equipment.
Prerequisites
Medically fit & healthy.
A good understanding of work at height equipment is required.
