]]> The Spec Chest and the Spec Chest Ascent were developed in tandem with the Spec Sit Harness to give capability for a full body harness to be created.

Both chest harnesses are threaded onto the Spec Sit via the attachment buckle on the rear of the waist belt, and can be left permanently attached or can be removed if required. The Spec Chest has a triple lock karabiner for the front attachment, whilst the Spec Chest Ascent is connected via the sewn-in ascender using the supplied maillon.

Both Spec Chest harnesses conform to the new defence material standard for helicopter use.

]]> The Harrier Chest Harness & Harrier Chest Plus Harness are a new design to accompany the Harrier sit harness range. Made using high grade polyester webbing and the shoulders are padded with high grade closed cell foam.

This harness utilises a triple action karabiner on the front to attach to the Harrier Sit Harness. The Harrier Chest Plus has a sewn in ascender and connects to the front of the sit harness with a maillon. Both of these harnesses can be threaded into the back of the Harrier Sit Harness models meaning they can be permanently attached or replaced if damaged in anyway.

Both models of Harrier have a quick clip buckle on the shoulder to allow faster donning or removal.

This harness must NOT be used on it’s own.

The Kite can be utilised for climbing, mountaineering, rescue, intervention and technical access. The Kite QC chest harness is fitted with a quick clip buckle for easy donning and removal.

The Kite QC’s link sling can be fitted and kept in position and is easily removable to swap it out. The link sling keeps the user in an upright sit position when connected to the sit harness to give a full body harness format conforming to EN361.

]]> Our Link Sling is made from high grade polyester with a weave that keeps the locking stitch away from the edge to help reduce wear/abrasion. It is made in two different lengths which are colour coded, 15cm for children (Yellow) and 20cm for adults (Orange). Longer slings can be made if required, along with all black versions.

It is the main link between any of our chest and sit harnesses to form a full body harness compliant with EN361 (Personal Protective Equipment Against Falls From Height – Full Body Harnesses).

]]> The Osprey Harness is fitted with adjustable shoulder & chest straps for improved fit and comfort for the user. It can also be fitted with a front attachment Quick Clip (QC) buckle for easy donning and removal.

The Chest Harness has front loops for use with a Link Sling to keep the user in an upright sitting position when connected to the sit harness to give a full body harness format conforming to EN361. The Link Sling can be fitted and kept in position when used with the Osprey QC.

The Osprey can be used for connecting a chest ascender by using the 25mm front strap threaded through the top hole of the ascender and the bottom of the ascender connected to the Sit Harness. The chest ascender can be fitted over the Link Sling and a karabiner in the chest loops giving the ability to be used in an instant.

The Osprey QC has the option to be fitted with non-removable padding, comes with a detachable gear rack for hanging tools or light equipment, lanyard parking loops, and velcro tabs for securing lanyard legs.

The Osprey Chest Harness MUST NOT be used on it’s own.

]]> The Kite Chest Harness in combination with a threaded Link Sling have been designed to be used with any of the SAR sit harness range for added comfort and protection. The Kite can be utilised for climbing, mountaineering, rescue, intervention and technical access. 

The harness has front loops for use with a Link Sling to keep the user in an upright sitting position when connected to the sit harness to give a full body harness format conforming to EN361.
