]]> The Rescue Drag Sling (RDS) is an emergency evacuation device designed to assist firefighters, military operatives, or anyone else who needs to rapidly evacuate a stricken colleague or casualty in a time critical situation.

Incorporating colour coded loops for ease of identification, the RDS can be fitted to the casualty in seconds, providing a simple yet effective solution for rapid evacuation.

Supplied with a quick-deploy pouch with velcro belt loops as standard, this can be made with a large velcro ‘slap patch’ on request.

The RDS is not PPE and must not be used for the suspension of persons.

]]> The SAR Steering Wheel Cover was originally made at the request of a mountain rescue team, to be put on when the Land Rover was being used as an anchor for rope rescue. This safety cover ensures that everyone knows not to move the vehicle! It is also now used by some teams to let people know that the communications mast has been elevated, so the vehicle shouldn’t be moved.

Manufactured from high visibility nylon, with a PVC pocket on the front, the cover will fit onto any steering wheel up to 450mm diameter, and is kept in place by a heavy duty shock cord. This size is suitable for most car, van and 4×4 steering wheels.

]]> Our Tool Lanyards are used to tether tools and other equipment in order to minimise the risk of dropped objects when working at height. They are heavy duty elasticated lanyards, rated to a maximum tool weight of either 5kg or 10kg- this includes a built in safety factor of 5:1. The user must check the lanyard label for the strength rating.

Supplied with or without our bespoke Accessory Karabiners, and with the option of a choke loop, buckle, or cord loop attachment, our Tool Lanyards are suitable for many working at height and rescue applications. They are individually serial numbered to aid traceability and inspection.
