The KITE chest harness and LINK sling have been designed to be used with any of the SAR sit harnesses for added comfort and protection and therefore are (PPE) personal protective equipment. The KITE chest can not be used on its own. The KITE chest harness and LINK sling have been designed to be used for climbing, mountaineering, rescue, intervention and technical access.

• It has front loops for use with a karabiner to keep an upright sit position when connected to the sit harness.

• It can be used with the Link sling threaded through the front loop's and then connected to the sit harness to give a full body harness conforming to EN361.

• It can be used for connecting a chest ascender. By using the 25mm front strap threaded through the top hole of the ascender and then the ascender connected to the sit.

• The chest ascender can be fitted over the Link sling and a karabiner in the chest loop's giving the availability of all the above to be used at an instant

Users should be trained, competent or under the supervision of such a person .
