The karabiner is made from high grade alloy, formed from round bar then pressed to shape to give extra strength.

It has a key lock on the nose and gate to stop web catching. Designed originally for sports climbing.

EN12275 and UIAA it now complies with the industrial connector standard EN362 used by SAR for the ROCKER back-up sling assembly, ideal for this type of use and as a small spare karabiner for carrying accessories yet if required in an emergency it complies, unlike a snap gate which will only comply to sport climbing.
