The Link Karabiner was first designed by Troll for use on 25mm flat webbing to be fitted permanently to the belay loops of harnesses used in activity centers. Having it permanently fitted reduced the possibility of twist and sideways loading across the gate. It was also ideally used in a twist lock version on the fly ends of twin clip loop lanyards.
SAR have now introduced the Triplock version on their new MERLIN full body harness range as the front shoulder waist connector and it can be fitted to any of their lanyards if required. It can be bought separately so customers can fit it to their own harnesses or slings etc. Fitting must be done by a competent person.
