Anchor sling

POLE SLING. Ref:S0017
The sling was first developed for climbing iced poles in Norway. It acted as a choker around the pole and has been a great success used in conjunction with an adjustable rope lanyard complying to EN358. The original sling was made from Troll 25mm nylon supertape then changed to SAR 25mm polyester Superweb.

It is now made from 30mm heavy duty polyester webbing with two reinforced eyes to allow a hook/karabiner to be passed through.

Its breaking strength is 40kn and can be used in many other areas of PPE. With EN354 and EN566 standards it has it can be made in any length up to 2M or as a loop of 240cm

It can be made larger but will only comply to the EN795 Class B as a portable anchor even though the static strength will stay the same at 40kN far stronger than is required at 15kN for EN795 and 22kN for EN354 & EN566.

NEW:IM ANCHOR SLING/LANYARD

.

All the above slings have been certified to the following standards;

EN795 Class B. Protection against falls from height transportable temporary anchor devices. A static force of 15kNto be applied for three mins.

EN566. Mountaineering equipment slings. Tensile strength of at least 22kN

EN354. Personal Protective Equipment against falls from height – LANYARDS.
