The ‘Terrain helmet’ Ref:HP008 is a genuine high performance multi role rescue helmet. For some time the HSE have been looking to promote better head protection and with the introduction of EN14052 there is now a standard that has made this possible.

The helmet is approved for use in the following operational environments –

•Marine use including fast water  craft,  swift water rescue and  flooding
•Rope Rescue/Working at Height
•Wild land Firefighting
•Urban Search & Rescue
•RTA
•Quad bikes & ATV’s

The ‘Terrain’ was also originally designed to take hearing protection which meets EN352-3 for helmet mounted hearing protection. It also can be fitted with a range of integrated accessories, including face protection, lighting and communications.
